Lesson 14: More Negatives
- Use of NONE to mean not or not at all. Verbs like HAVE, SEE, UNDERSTAND, FEEL, HEAR, EAT, and GET are frequently negated with NONE. NONE may occur either before or after the verb, but when it occurs after the verb, the two signs are often blended together in a single, smooth movement.

- NONE may also be used before a noun to show a zero quantity of the noun.

General Sign Language And Deaf Studies Program Requirements
An Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, which includes a grade 12 English credit, is required for all sign language and deaf studies programs at Ontario Colleges. Additional requirements might include senior science or math credits.
Some programs are designed for students who already have basic ASL skills, and will therefore require students to demonstrate their abilities in order to be considered for the program.

He began as an interpreter for the Office of the Prosecutor for Persons with Disabilities, the State Agency for Emergency Management and WIPR. During that governmental function, he had the opportunity to: Serve as interpreter to three governors and a president of the USA. He was interpreter for the Safety Board, for the explosion of Humberto Vidal and several meteorological events. He was moderator of the television show “ABC in Sign”.
He was the first president of the PR Deaf Interpreter Registry and the first manager of the VRS company, Sorenson. He was the promoter of several bills, which benefited the deaf community and the interpreters, such as the amendment to the Government Ethics Law and the amendment to article 11 of Law 285.
He has been a professor of language and interpretation for: Turabo University, DARS Project for Trilingual Interpreters, OIDOS Inc and Sordo-oriented Services, where he is a Co-founder.
At present, he continues efforts of collaboration with the Deaf Association of Cuba and the University of Havana, in his projects of interpretation and certification.
