We asked hearing aid professionals how long you can expect invisible hearing aids to last. According to Orso, in-ear hearing aids can last from 3-6 years. However, the longer these hearing aids are worn, the more often repairs will have to be made.
The main exception to this rule are the Phonak Lyric hearing aids. Orso said that these disposable hearing aids run 24/7 for up to 120 days. Then they have to be replaced. The Lyric hearing aids made our list as the most discreet, as theyre so small that an audiologist must place them deep inside your canalits not safe to do so on your own.
